Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. Under the guidance of a physician, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring positive patient outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the HCA mission, prioritizing the care and improvement of human life.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to the physician's preference card.
  • Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
  • Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
  • Confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating X-ray.
  • Communicate patient status information to other staff responsible for their care.
  • Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology is required.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting, is required.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of start is required.
  • A State Radiology Technician license is required.

Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
