Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Deer Oaks. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting in-person psychiatric assessments, medication management, and implementing Medicare compliant gradual dose reduction strategies for psychotropic medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Manage medications and implement gradual dose reduction strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience working with geriatric populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
