Job Summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled RN Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County. As a key member of our PCU team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the healthcare team as appropriate.
  • Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
