About the Role

This full-time position offers a unique blend of clinical and surgical opportunities, with a strong focus on cataract surgery and associated procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, mentoring junior staff members, and driving business growth through effective leadership and strategic planning.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex ophthalmic surgeries, including cataracts, YAG, LPI, and SLT procedures.
  • Mentor and supervise junior medical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with referring physicians and community partners to expand our network.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology and hold an active medical license in the state of Maine (or be willing to obtain one upon employment).
