We are seeking an experienced Global Procurement Specialist to join our team at NES Fircroft. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in procurement and SAP expertise to take their career to the next level.

About the Role:

As a Global Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating requisitions and purchase orders in SAP, managing the lifecycle of a purchase order from receipt to supplier payment, and ensuring all procurement activities are in compliance with our Company Supply Chain Policy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve transactional issues in a timely manner and provide analytical support for supply chain initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Create purchase orders in SAP and administer the lifecycle of a purchase order from requisition receipt to supplier payment.
  • Work inquiries assigned to you with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes to determine the most cost-effective solution.
  • Verify invoice accuracy and facilitate timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve transactional issues in a timely manner.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a purchasing or other transactional role, proficiency with SAP (basic level at a minimum), and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with SMART by GEP and PowerBI/Spotfire dashboards would be an asset.
