Job Title: Per Diem Direct Support Professional - Kent Area

Join our team at Redwood Family Care Network as a Per Diem Direct Support Professional in the Kent Area. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Per Diem Direct Support Professional. In this role, you will provide support to program participants, promoting their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each participant receives the necessary support and services to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to program participants, promoting their independence and quality of life.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure that each participant receives the necessary support and services to achieve their goals.
  • Assist participants with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, food preparation, and house cleaning.
  • Transport participants to and from appointments and activities.
  • Provide informal counseling and problem-solving with participants.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Washington State Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
