Maxim Healthcare Services - Homecare Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Homecare Nurse to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Homecare Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Homecare Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services.
  • Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions as patient status and needs change.
  • Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor and document effectiveness of intervention.
  • Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
