Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented Training Manager, Operations to define and drive the operational training and enablement strategy at scale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating solutions that team members want to adopt, share, and improve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable transparency and decision-making across CyrusOne leadership by providing clear communication and status updates on initiatives.
  • Bring expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity to add value to our team.
  • Unify distributed efforts and own the plan to deliver quality outcomes for our customers.
  • Work across organizations to ensure the integration of best-in-class customer experience with training programs that enable high-quality customer support.
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives and programs, and report on their progress.
  • Manage programs to scale and improve the learner experience with our training and enablement offerings.
  • Promote regional approaches where applicable.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate complex situations.
  • Attend program-related meetings, coordinate with team leaders, and regularly report status to Operations System management.
  • Work under tight program timelines.
  • Frequently visit data centers to understand the learner's experience.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 5+ years of prior training experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of training creation, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Prior experience standing up a training program preferred.
Education/Certifications
  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field preferred.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • 5% travel required.
