Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager II.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is pivotal in cultivating and maintaining relationships with the architectural, engineering, and specification communities. The objective is to educate stakeholders about Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS) products and their applications, thereby enhancing the number of specifications and subsequent sales within a designated territory. The position also involves contributing to the development and execution of sales strategies within commercial sales channels while enhancing the knowledge and skills of these channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct direct and collaborative sales meetings to establish connections with local architects, engineers, and contractors, providing education on CITY MULTI Variable Refrigerant Flow systems and other METUS products.
  • Deliver informative presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and commercial sales channels.
  • Engage in local professional networking events, industry associations, and trade exhibitions.
  • Document and manage customer data, activities, and quotes in the SalesForce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) or other required systems.
  • Oversee project pipelines and monitor progress within the SalesForce CRM system.
  • Occasionally visit job sites to assist customers and service team members.
  • Actively contribute to sales planning and the implementation of sales strategies for commercial sales channels.
  • Support the Regional Manager in collecting market and competitive insights.
  • Assist distribution channels where METUS products are marketed as assigned.
  • Enhance the competency of commercial sales channels by training design professionals on the proper application of METUS products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for various company meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience.
  • Experience with VRF systems is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channels, engineers, and contractors.
  • Ability to interpret and understand architectural and engineering plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional public speaking abilities.
  • Preferred strong understanding of HVAC applications and design.
  • Must reside within the Business Unit Geography.
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Team-oriented individual demonstrating METUS core values, including a commitment to collective success, excellence, sustainability, execution, and continuous learning.

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $88,000 and $121,000 annually. However, the actual salary offered may vary based on individual factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as commissions, incentive compensation, and discretionary awards. Eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan and participate in company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for themselves and their eligible dependents. Employees will receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the year, depending on their hire date. Additionally, employees may take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid leave for various reasons, if eligible.
