Job Summary

Hamptons LLC is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • Manage staff and provide feedback to ensure high-quality service
  • Respond to customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all employees adhere to company uniform standards
  • Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations, and seating charts
  • Advise customers on menu and wine choices
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff
  • Prepare weekly schedules and ensure they align with budgeted labor hours and dollars
  • Use discretion when allowing employees to punch out early during slow revenue periods
  • Organize and supervise shifts for wait staff, laundry, and overall cleanliness of the facility
  • Audit time cards daily and make edits from POS each week
  • Lead by example and be the face of the restaurant
  • Develop and maintain relationships between the chef and guests
  • Cruise the dining room periodically to enhance the guest experience
  • Attend daily lunch and dinner meetings
  • Be present during lunch and dinner service hours
  • Ensure the restaurant is always in a state of readiness
  • Promote Hamptons through off-premise events
  • Stay up-to-date on general restaurant trends, industry changes, and ideas

Requirements

  • Strong background in restaurant management
