Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Inspection and Reporting: Conduct regular site inspections, maintain detailed records, and report progress to project management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of skilled trades, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Problem-Solving and Cost Management: Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and unexpected challenges in a proactive and timely manner, and monitor and manage project budgets and costs.
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain a safe and organized construction site, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols and regulations, and foster a culture of teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement among on-site personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on multi-family residential projects.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices, proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and documents, excellent communication and leadership skills, familiarity with construction software and tools, and OSHA certification is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
