Job Summary:

OU Health is seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, including beds, furniture, and equipment.
  • Collect and dispose of soiled linen, trash, and bio-hazardous waste.
  • Dust, mop, and vacuum floors, as well as clean and maintain equipment.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull a wheeled cart.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including patient rooms, hallways, and storage areas.
