Design Engineer Position

Selectek is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to bridge the gap between design and production. They need someone who can create accurate, informative, and easy-to-read construction and setup prints to ensure the success of an efficient project.


Requirements:
• Associates Degree / Technical Training
• 3+ years of previous Design Engineer experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
• Millwork construction or Architectural background a plus
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients and internal teams
• Ability to problem solve
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Responsibilities:
• Execute the drawing of construction and setup prints
• Review and interpret project contracts and renderings
• Develop innovative ways to find solutions to problems
• Manage multiple projects
• Able to handle quick turnarounds in an efficient manner
• Communicate well with internal departments
• Adapt well to evolving environments
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and self-motivated

Work Environment:
• Monday - Friday: 8AM – 5PM
• Some on occasion overtime
• Business casual work attire
