Key Responsibilities- Perform complex serologic and molecular HLA testing and analyze results to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain test equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Monitor reagent supply inventory and perform quality control of new reagents to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Process cells and sera in a timely and accurate manner to meet laboratory demands.
- Maintain competency and proficiency in tests performed, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Stay informed about applicable federal and state policies to ensure compliance and adherence.
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited university in Medical Technology or a biological science.
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or limited license appropriate for the area of responsibility.
- New graduates from CLS training, no experience in HLA testing is necessary.
- Limited CLS License in HLA with 2 years of experience preferred.
