**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Compliance Specialist with a minimum of 1 year in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) related field or a bachelor's degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910, and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity. The role requires maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace. Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends.

**Typical Day:**

Identify and inform management of compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of weekly and monthly audits.

Facilitate the investigation process.

Maintain required paperwork to comply with regulations.

Enter information in the internal database in a timely manner.

Perform observations and audits.

Train and assist others (Area Managers, team members, etc.) to complete their responsibilities (Audits, Follow Rules, etc.).

Perform specific training as required by the Manager.

May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other related activities depending on the business unit and location.

Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conduct regular audits to identify compliance issues and risks.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.

• Provide training and support to colleagues on EHS procedures and regulations.

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.

• 1 year of experience in an EHS related field.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).

• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
