Night Auditor

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an exceptional Night Auditor to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express Walnut Creek. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift.

Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is responsible for managing the financial and administrative aspects of the hotel, including cash handling, reporting, and security protocols. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling: Balance the day's transactions, prepare nightly reports, and ensure accurate accounting practices.
• Front Desk Operations: Manage guest check-ins, handle customer inquiries, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Security Protocols: Conduct regular security walks, ensure all areas are locked and secured, and respond to any incidents or emergencies.
• Administrative Tasks: Prepare and distribute daily reports, complete end-of-day procedures, and perform other administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and basic arithmetic functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
