Key Responsibilities- Assist virtual students with technology needs, responding to messages and resolving issues related to Microsoft devices and Apple iPads.
- Provide technical support to in-person students and staff, troubleshooting and resolving device-related issues.
- Install and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software to ensure optimal site operations.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair logs.
- Manage student device inventory, repairs, and fees, working closely with building staff.
- Repair and maintain electronic equipment, including computers, peripherals, and audio-visual systems.
- Respond to technical inquiries from staff, parents, and students, providing guidance and support.
- Utilize a work ticketing system to receive and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion and closure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Job-related experience preferred.
- Ability to work under limited supervision, following standardized practices and methods.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and work with diverse groups.
The Technology Support Specialist Intern will work in a clean and safe environment, with regular exposure to technology equipment and occasional lifting and carrying of equipment.
BenefitsThis is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position, with a competitive hourly rate of $16.50.
