Job Summary:

The Automotive Body Painter will be responsible for performing high-quality paint work on vehicles, ensuring a seamless and efficient process from start to finish. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform paint work on vehicles with efficiency, accuracy, and in accordance with dealership and insurance company policy
  • Assess vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed
  • Communicate with estimators and parts to obtain necessary parts
  • Document all work performed on the repair order, with proper flag sheets, technician notes, etc.
  • Provide superior customer satisfaction
  • Maintain dealership-owned tools and manuals in good working order and assume accountability for those tools; return all tools/manuals to their proper place after use
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner following safety standards and using personal protective equipment while working
  • Clean and maintain work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Computerized transactions/record keeping
  • Follow all Company procedures and standards
Requirements:
  • ICAR certification (preferred), we will provide training if not already certified
  • Aluminum Repair Certification (preferred), we will provide training if not already certified
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must provide own tool set
  • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Lifting of heavy items of up to 75 pounds
  • Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
  • Valid Driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
