Job Overview

Mullinax Automotive is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess vehicle damage and develop a repair plan to ensure efficient and accurate completion of work
  • Communicate effectively with estimators and parts team to obtain necessary materials
  • Document all work performed on the repair order, including proper flag sheets and technician notes
  • Provide exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality repairs and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Operate equipment safely and productively, adhering to safety standards and using personal protective equipment as needed
Requirements
  • ICAR certification (preferred), with training provided if not already certified
  • Aluminum Repair Certification (preferred), with training provided if not already certified
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must provide own tool set
  • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Lifting of heavy items up to 75 pounds
  • Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust
  • Valid Driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
