Job Summary:The Senior Avionics Technician will provide technical expertise and leadership in the maintenance and repair of avionics and electronic systems on corporate aircraft. This role requires a strong understanding of avionics and electrical systems, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and participate in the maintenance and repair of avionics and electronic systems on corporate aircraft.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
- Develop and implement process changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Gulfstream and FAA regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless aircraft maintenance and repair.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
- FCC License and NCATT preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Smarteam, and AIR.
