Role Summary

The Glassware & Sterilization Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of all laboratory containers and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Reports to: Batching & Bottling Supervisor

Supervises: No supervisory duties

Primary Duties Include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning glassware and cylinders.
  • Assisting with general sanitation tasks.
  • Sterilizing equipment using autoclave technology.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

Education/Experience:

No prior experience or specialized training is required.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and comprehend safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing standard reports and correspondence. Proficient in verbal communication with groups of colleagues or clients.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Competence in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting graphical data.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions provided in various formats. Capable of addressing problems that involve multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios.
