We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Operations & Technology team at NBCUniversal. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, while working closely with internal engineering and production teams to ensure successful project launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead the creation of project documentation, including requirements, conceptual drawings, estimates, design drawings, and documentation.
  • Technical Expertise: Work closely with on-site and remote technology vendors to develop and implement solutions to support live production control rooms, studios, graphics systems, replay systems, etc.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the engineering and technical teams in executing projects, including working with internal stakeholders to create and update configuration documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Broadcasting, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of recent experience supporting live production, post-production, or master control environments.
  • Skills: Ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays with little or no notice, depending on production schedules. Ability to travel on an as-needed basis. Fluency in English (with fluency in Spanish desired).

  • Technical Expertise: Expertise with a broad range of technologies, especially systems and technologies used for live production.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong understanding of IP & SDI based infrastructures and software-based systems.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
