About the Role

Premier Dental Partners Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

About Us

Premier Dental Partners Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center is a unique and dynamic practice that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. Our 9-person team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences. We offer a stable and secure work environment, with a focus on continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
    • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
    • Dentrix or other dental software experience.
    • Dental assisting school certification.
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are required, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year is also necessary.
