Job Summary:

Flynn Orthodontics is seeking a temporary Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join their team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first. You will be responsible for greeting and welcoming patients, conducting thorough reviews of patient health history, taking and processing x-rays, and providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey
Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history
Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists
Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols

Requirements:

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
