Position Overview

The Emergency Services Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the nursing and licensed independent practitioner staff within the Emergency Department (ED). This position involves performing essential tasks that aid in the treatment and care of patients experiencing various medical conditions and injuries. The technician acts as a vital link between healthcare team members, patients, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain inventory and supply levels within the department.
  • Assist in various departmental activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide support to nursing staff and practitioners in patient care.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification as a Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist upon hire.
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License or Washington Nursing Assistant Registered upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or training in orthopedic technology is advantageous.
  • Two years of experience as an EMT or in an Emergency Department setting is preferred.
