Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Provider Aide to join our Behavioral Health Department in Federal Way, WA.
Job Summary:The Psychiatric Provider Aide will support psychiatric prescribers in administrative and clinical areas, working closely with mental health therapists and chemical dependency professionals to ensure continuity of care for clients. This role involves providing screenings and case management, as well as participating in the delivery of client services and coordination of community support services.
Responsibilities:- Assist psychiatric prescribers in administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring compliance with WACs, RCWs, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare charts, prescription refill requests, and other necessary paperwork for psychiatric prescribers.
- Maintain accurate records of medication storage, dispensation, and waste logs, adhering to Sea Mar policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to medical, nursing, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from Washington State.
- CPR/BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Minimum CNA, MA, EMT, LPN, or RN licensure.
- Active Washington State Department of Health license.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- No history or evidence of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years prior to hiring.
- Washington State Driver's License required.
- Familiarity with computer software desired.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background screening.
