POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary objective of the team member is to craft memorable experiences by delivering exceptional family entertainment within a secure, clean, friendly, and educational atmosphere. Team members are expected to excel in four key roles: Greeter, Sales Associate, Merchandiser, and Cashier. This position entails managing a point of sale system, which includes processing both cash and credit transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage designated merchandise areas safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold and comply with all departmental, park, and safety regulations.
  • Accurately complete all necessary departmental documentation.
  • Conduct operations in line with company standards, particularly regarding cash and credit handling.
  • Complete required PCI training.
  • Provide outstanding Guest Service, ensuring that guest inquiries and issues are addressed positively and effectively.
  • Be flexible to assist in various areas of the park as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures set forth by Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures.
  • Represent the organization positively to guests and fellow team members.
  • Meet Wild Adventures' standards for performance and conduct, including punctuality and regular attendance.
  • Strive to "Create Memories Worth Repeating" for our guests by surpassing their expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This role requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions and exposure to dust and odors. Team members may encounter various chemicals, bodily fluids, and blood-borne pathogens, as well as prolonged exposure to sunlight or rain.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should be currently enrolled in high school, a high school graduate, or possess a GED.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic computer proficiency is essential; candidates must be able to operate and understand the park's point of sale systems.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be able to wear job-specific personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
