Patient Care Assistant

Job Summary:
As a Patient Care Assistant at Southeast Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the effective operation of our department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform various patient care activities, including personal care and comfort measures.
Assist with the effective and efficient operation of the department, ensuring a smooth and seamless patient experience.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
Requirements:
High school graduation or equivalent.
Completion of a technical program for nursing assistant training or satisfactory completion of academic courses related to fundamentals of nursing.
Ability to read and write clearly and legibly, as well as read, write, and speak English.
Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support and annual completion of established competency requirements.
Ability to function under stressful situations and operate personal computers, including software in a Windows environment.
Shift Details:
7:00 am - 7:00 pm, 0.9 FTE, Regular Type.
