Job Description Summary

The Patient Care Student Nurse Intern I (PCSN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support in our orthopedic and oncology departments. As a PCSN, you will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Registered Nurses in providing patient care and support
  • Perform various patient care activities, including vital sign checks and medication administration
  • Utilize knowledge gained from participation in a Licensed Practical Nurse educational program to enhance patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an approved LPN program
  • Completion of Fundamental Nursing, Pharmacology, and Adult Health 1 courses

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Working Conditions:

  • Shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • FTE: 0.9
  • Type: Regular
