Job Summary

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled Health Physicist to join our team. As a Health Physicist, you will be responsible for implementing and administering radiation safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will work closely with researchers, faculty, and staff to provide guidance on radiation safety procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and administer radiation safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide guidance on radiation safety procedures and protocols to researchers, faculty, and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for researchers, faculty, and staff on radiation safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of radiation safety programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health physics, radiation physics, medical physics, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in health physics and program management.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety regulations and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
