Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Support: Provide proactive maintenance, automation, and troubleshooting of Windows and VMware environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, and CORE servers, as well as ESXi, vSphere systems, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop and implement scripts to automate routine administration tasks, improve efficiency, and standardize processes.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of our systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer support, to resolve issues, improve processes, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in Windows and VMware systems administration, with a strong understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and storage environments.
  • Skills: Strong scripting skills in Windows, PowerShell, Python, Perl, and Power CLI; experience with Ansible, BAO, and other automation tools; knowledge of ITIL v4 processes and incident, change, problem, and release management.
