Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team at Meritage Homes. As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for establishing new escrow accounts and processing escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open new builder escrows in QUALIA system, including initial entry of contract information and scanning of contract documents.
  • Order statements from HOA Management Companies and send out title commitments and lender title requests.
  • Upload and process all items received through QUALIA Work Queues.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties to assist in the escrow process.
  • Adhere to the rules and regulations of escrow within all operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years of escrow experience.
  • Experience in QUALIA highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret purchase agreements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
