Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join CIE Norfolk GNS LLC as a Process Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum quality production while supporting the company's policies, goals, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain plant equipment to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Collect and analyze data to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless shift turnover and process continuity.
- Monitor and maintain accurate process logs to track production metrics.
- Notify shift leads of any equipment issues or process deviations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ability to learn new software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, climbing ladders and stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
