Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Work closely with warehouse and procurement teams to oversee inventory replenishment based on stock levels and market demand.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and updating inventory records as necessary.
- Maintain data entry and keep inventory databases current with real-time information.
- Assist in organizing and optimizing inventory storage to enhance space utilization.
- Generate reports detailing inventory levels, discrepancies, and trends for management review.
- Participate in periodic audits and collaborate with the finance team to address any discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in inventory storage areas.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management practices.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, following all safety protocols.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks and uphold 5S standards, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and organizing workspaces.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role, with a focus on cycle counting and replenishment.
- Forklift experience and certification preferred, or a willingness to obtain certification.
- Proficient in inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and transport products as needed.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
