Compensation Package

$45,000 per year salary, plus benefits

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at our fast-paced outpatient imaging center. The ideal candidate will provide quality customer service while obtaining and entering accurate demographic and insurance information into our RIS system for our patients.

  • Receive inbound calls from patients and physician offices, and schedule requested exams.
  • Make outgoing calls to patients to schedule requested exams whose orders were faxed or sent via electronic requisition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all callers.
  • Handles initial scheduling inquiries and problems via the telephone.
  • Resolve caller issues, which may require research and/or troubleshooting.
  • Receive telephone calls, which are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one year related medical office experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate computer and customer service skills are a must.
  • Great organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, HMOs, and PPOs is a plus.
