We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishroom Assistant to join our team. As a Dishroom Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom, ensuring that all dishes, silverware, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run dishes and silverware through the dish machine following proper procedures.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and areas as designated by management.
  • Keep the dishroom clean and organized at all times.
  • Ensure sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping the dishroom floor.
  • Assist with de-liming the dish machine and scrubbing and soaking stained cups.
  • Exercise extreme caution when using chemicals and follow all safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 30 pounds.
