Job Title: Interim Director of Mental Health Outpatient Services

We are seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Interim Director of Mental Health Outpatient Services at our esteemed children's hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

About the Role

The Interim Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, focusing on ongoing initiatives such as staff engagement, recruiting activities, patient flow, and departmental KPIs related to patient experience and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree, LCSW or related licensing designation, and a minimum of seven years of experience in a related setting, preferably in a children's setting.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mental Health Outpatient Services department
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve staff engagement and recruiting activities
  • Monitor and analyze patient flow and departmental KPIs
  • Collaborate with staff to drive departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • LCSW or related licensing designation
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a related setting
  • Experience in a children's setting preferred
