We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator Assistant to join our team at Compunnel Inc. as a Press Machine Support Specialist. This is a temporary to hire position that will last up to a year or longer, with the potential to lead to a permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the machine operator in packaging on a press machine.
  • Work alongside the machine operator to ensure efficient production.
  • Remove rolls from the machine and place them in boxes.
  • Tape boxes and place them on pallets.
  • Move pallets using a pallet jack to designated areas.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. of boxes containing rolls.
  • Wear steel toe shoes and use safety equipment provided by the company.
  • No prior machine experience is required.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Less than 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
