Senior QA Automation Engineer with Python Expertise

Project Overview

Luxoft is at the forefront of electrification, working with a leading American multinational automaker to develop a comprehensive plan for electric vehicle innovation. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the creation of a modern Software-Defined Vehicle digital infrastructure, leveraging the latest technologies and software to drive innovation and speed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing automation architecture using Python and Linux
  • Create and execute automated test cases for software development
  • Collaborate with developers, QAs, and project owners to ensure seamless communication and project success
  • Analyze business requirements and design documents for completeness and testability
  • Execute test cases, update test documentation, and create effective test reports
  • Review test failures, determine sources of problems, and work with bug tracking systems to drive resolution
  • Support development teams in issues reproduction and root cause analysis
  • Report work progress through regular project meetings
Mandatory Skills
  • 3+ years of Python coding experience
  • Pytest OOP knowledge and architecture design principles
  • Unit tests writing experience
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and Unix-based OS
  • Test automation experience in Automotive, Embedded, Mobile, and Networking HW domains
  • Practical knowledge of test methodologies, relevant standards, processes, and tools
  • Understanding of simulation approaches
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and Test Rail
  • Analytical mind and willingness to understand complex systems
  • API automation knowledge
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and self-disciplined
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Practical knowledge of In-Vehicle and communication interfaces
  • XML and ARXML processing knowledge
  • Google Cloud experience
