Key Responsibilities

  • Establishes, communicates, and enforces efficient Parts Department procedures to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Promotes and displays parts and accessories in collaboration with other dealership locations.
  • Collaborates with the Corporate Parts Manager to formulate annual goals and budget for the Parts department, aligning with the overall financial and operational objectives of the organization.
  • Develops and implements a marketing strategy for the Parts department, monitoring progress monthly to ensure targets are met.
  • Maintains a precise and effective inventory control system, which includes regular physical inventories and proper counter procedures.
  • Processes all parts warranty and return claims promptly to maximize credit recovery.
  • Ensures that all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Partners with the HR team to oversee recruitment, staffing, and professional development for team members under this role.
  • Aims for a score of 80% or higher on the quarterly parts audit.
  • Provides customers with parts recommendations, including suitable alternatives to meet their needs.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Parts Department operations.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles.
  • Proficient in using computers and related software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relevant to Parts Department operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports effectively.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
