Job Summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing material while upholding the safety values and standards that Bishop Lifting is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company protocols and procedures.
  • Assist in proof testing of products when required to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Ensure that equipment and tools used in the rigging department are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Perform other functions as required to support the rigging department.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
  • Prior Rigging/sling assembly experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy material to and from certain parts of the rigging department.
  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
  • General computer experience is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test/physical and background check.
