Job Title: Controller Services Associate

The Controller Services Associate plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our clients' data and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
  • Manage client payroll processing and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide direct client service-oriented projects, including frequent client contact and representation of the firm in a professional manner.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Client Service Leaders.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of an associate degree with an emphasis in accounting.
  • Preferred candidates will possess or be working toward completion of a bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in accounting, with a goal of qualifying for and passing the CPA exam.
  • As many as three years' experience in a similar position with a public accounting firm or in private industry.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Professional Development:

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift pounds at times.
  • Extended hours are required at certain times throughout the year, depending on client needs.
