About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
