Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at the U.S. Pacific Fleet. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and training to our personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and conduct formal and informal training sessions on non-nuclear engineering standards and procedures.
- Research and source work/training requirements from local and NAVSEA instructions.
- Schedule and coordinate classroom sessions to provide training to Shipyard personnel.
- Develop and administer written and practical examinations to verify knowledge and abilities.
- Prepare and maintain training records, progress reports, and other documents as required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing training and program management skills on technical engineering techniques.
