Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants, LLC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds. This is a supportive role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily repairs and upkeep of the property, including preparing vacant units for occupancy
  • Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment
  • Ensure necessary tools are on hand
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
  • Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the required property uniform
  • Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis
  • Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary
  • Handle lock-outs as a result of evictions and respond to 24-hour service requests

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
  • Property maintenance/handyman experience

Compensation:
Full-Time $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
