Key ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine is responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals. You will conduct imaging procedures utilizing advanced radiation detection technology, providing essential images and data analysis to physicians for diagnostic purposes. You will cater to a diverse patient demographic, from infants to seniors.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering patient care tailored to individual conditions and age.
- Preparing radiopharmaceutical stock solutions and materials.
- Adhering to aseptic techniques for all procedures.
- Operating within the defined scope of practice in accordance with established policies.
- Implementing infection control measures relevant to the department.
- Accurately documenting all required information immediately following each procedure.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- An Associate Degree.
- Certification as a Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).
