Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct phlebotomy, clinical, and clerical duties to support patient care
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Verify patient information, take vital signs, and prepare patients for exams
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Certification in a medical assisting program (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or EMT-B) within 9 months of employment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting or as an EMT, Paramedic, and/or Corpsman
  • Phlebotomy experience and electronic medical records experience preferred
