Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Fabandt in Austin. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and friendly service to customers and potential customers.
  • Utilize the Seven Step Retail Sales Process to establish deep relationships with new customers or to cross sell and deepen relationships with existing customers.
  • Perform teller transactions with accuracy to minimize teller outages.
  • Responsible for opening consumer and business accounts and ensuring operational excellence is achieved.
  • Exhibit sales and service behaviors that are consistent with Fabandt's core values and profit objectives.
  • Provide flawless service at all touch points within the branch.
  • Support the attainment of branch goals.
  • Collaborate with Retail Management, Training, Internal Audit, and Security on compliance issues and process improvement.
  • Answer customer inquiries relating to products, rates, and services.
  • Assess customer needs to cross sell appropriate products and services.
  • Refer new business to other areas within the bank.
  • Develop and build customer loyalty.
  • Adhere to work schedules as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude and appearance.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring of all required documentation.

Requirements

  • High School or better.
  • Minimum of three months cash handling experience.
  • Minimum of three months customer service experience.
  • Banking experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Activities

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
