### Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Wellpath. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and prescribing medication for mentally-ill and Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) patients in the Jail Based Competency Treatment program.

### Key Responsibilities

* Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with JBCT patients for medication compliance and treatment changes
* Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings
* Provide clinical support and guidance, and participate in coordination of IMO/ALJ processes and court testimony
* Work collaboratively with the Sheriff's Office team and provide written documentation of patient findings and treatment history

### Qualifications & Requirements

* Education associated with licensure as a Psychiatrist in the state of employment
* One + year experience as a licensed Psychiatrist
* Previous correctional/detention facility experience
* Licensure as a Psychiatrist in state of employment
* Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS certification through AHA
