- Kennel Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kennels, including disinfecting and restocking supplies.
- Volunteer Management: Direct and provide guidance to animal care volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to provide the best possible care for the animals.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interact with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, including coordinating animal movements and providing updates on animal care.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and repairing as needed.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to and lead initiatives to improve processes and procedures, ensuring the highest level of animal care and welfare.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately and efficiently enter data and maintain records, ensuring up-to-date information on animal care and welfare.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience working with animals in a shelter or similar environment preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong attention to detail.
- Competitive Salary: Starting at $20.00-$20.90 per hour.
